High Court of Madras invites Application for the post of Law Clerks to the Hon’ble Judges (both in the Principal Seat at Madras and at Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, Madurai), on adhoc basis. Apply before 24 April 2015.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : Candidate should be a Graduate in Law (under 10+2+3+3 or 10+2+5 pattern) from the recognized Universities in the Indian Union and recognized by the Bar Council of India for admission as Advocate or Attorney of an Indian Court.
Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : 30 years as on 24.04.2015
How to Apply : Interested candidates may apply in prescribed application form along with  copies of Educational Certificates including the statement of marks obtained in Law Degree (duly self attested by the candidate) and a Passport size Photograph affixed on the right side top of the Application with Acknowledgement Due and superscribed on the envelope as “Application for the post of Law Clerk to the Hon’ble Judges”, and send by Registered Post to The Registrar General, High Court, Madras-600 104 on or before 24.04.2015.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : Must possess a Degree in Law of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission, or any other equivalent qualification and got enrolled as an Advocate under a State Bar Council established under the Advocates Act, 1961 and Must be practising as an Advocate or Pleader in the High Court or Courts subordinate thereto and must have so practised for not less than 3 years on the date of this Notification, viz., 23.11.2014.or Must be an Assistant Public Prosecutor having not less than 3 years of experience as an Advocate and / or Assistant Public Prosecutor.
Nationality : Indian

Age Limit :

(A) For practising Advocates / Pleaders and Assistant Public Prosecutors

For reserved : Must have attained the age of 25 years and must not have categories attained the age of 40 years.
In case of : Must have attained the age of 25 years and must not have Others attained the age of 35 years.
(B) For Fresh Law Graduates :

For all categories : Must have attained the age of 22 years and must not have completed the age of 27 years.
Application Fee : Rs.500/-The fee should be paid only by Demand Draft drawn in a Nationalised Bank in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Madras payableat Chennai. The Demand Draft should have been obtained on or after 23.11.2014.

How to Apply : The hard copy of the application form, along with the enclosures and the demand draft for payment of fees, shall reach the office of the Registrar General, High Court, Chennai 600 104, before 5.00 pm on or before 19.12.2014. The soft copy of the application should also be sent so as to reach the e-mail id given in the instructions sheet provided before 5.00 pm on 19.12.2014.
