Qualification/Educational Criteria :
Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria : Pass out 10th (Matric) Class / Diploma in Mechanical Engg. / Electrical Engg. / Electronic Engg. equivalent qualification with first division marks from any recognized Board / Institution recognized by Board of Central / State Govt.
Age Limit(in yrs) :
Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 18 to 22 years i.e between 01st August 1993 to 31st July 1997.
Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) :
Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.5,200 to 20,200 with Grand Pay Rs.2,400/- Per Month.
Mode of Selection :
Selection will be based on Written Examination followed by Physical Fitness Test, Interview and Medical Test.

The Indian Coast Guard known as ICG is the 4th branch of the armed force of India. Its mission is the protection of India's maritime interests and enforcement of maritime law, with jurisdiction over the territorial waters of India, including its contiguous zone and exclusive economic zone. ICG was formally established on 18/08/1978 as an armed force of the Union by the Coast Guard Act, 1978. It operates under the Ministry of Defence.
